Typing Game with Friends

No signup. No install. Create a room, share the link, and race your friends in fast 90-second rounds. Keep the room alive together or compete for the highest WPM.

How to play with friends

Start a room in Typing Rooms and instantly get a shareable link. Send it to your friends, and they'll join without needing an account. Everyone types at the same time as words fall down the screen. The faster you type, the more damage you deal to enemies. If the room's shared health hits zero, you all lose. Survive together or let competitive spirit take over — either way, the energy is high and rounds are short enough to play again and again.

Why multiplayer typing is more fun

Typing alone is practice. Typing with friends is a game. Adding shared pressure, real-time competition, and immediate feedback creates moments you'll actually remember — those clutch saves, the close finishes, the laughs when someone almost lets the room die. Typing Rooms captures that energy by mixing cooperation and leaderboard scores in the same round. You don't feel idle when other players are ahead; the whole room still depends on your accuracy and speed.

Room codes and direct join links

Every room gets both a short code and a direct link. Share the code in a text message if your friends are nearby, or paste the full link in Discord, Slack, or anywhere online. The link takes players straight to a join screen with the room already prefilled. No copy-paste, no confusion — just click and play.

Why players love it

The Typing Rooms difference

No signup needed

Open the link, pick a name, and start typing. Your friends don't need accounts, extensions, or downloads — everything works in the browser.

Short, intense rounds

Most games finish in 90 seconds. That means you can queue up another match immediately and keep the energy high for hours without feeling like you're grinding.

Shared survival with individual scores

The room has shared health, so everyone matters. But the scoreboard still tracks WPM, accuracy, and combos for each player — cooperation and competition at once.
